12 Days of Bootmas with SOREL | Day 10

//What’s Bootmas?
Have you heard of the amazing brand SOREL? A brand that creates fashionably bold, unapologetically daring and beautifully brave footwear for the fearless since 1962! I was recently given the opportunity to collaborate with them and “The 12 days of Bootmas” was born.  I’ve decided to share my top 12 picks from their Fall 2011 Lookbook – each of which will make a great gift. Especially for that Canadian in your life! 😉  From the 1st to the 12th I’ll post a new boot, each loaded with styling tips and info – there will be 6 for him and 6 for her (just to make it fair!)  Have a lovely Bootmas and a very SOREL year! 😉

Today’s boot is the Putnam™ High which is absolutely dashing! They were inspired by George Putnam husband to famed aviatrix Amelia Earhart. These boots make a handsome companion to their women’s Sorelia Earhart Series – and also yesterday’s boot. (and pretty much any other neutral boot your darling is wearing.) They retail in at $220.00 CDN and are available in other colours as well!

//Styling Ideas
Above I’ve styled the boot with a lovely navy and white striped sweater, a beige pair of dockers, a nice coat, a cosy scarf, his fave watch, and a comfy hat. This is a dressy-casual outfit, and it’s perfect to wear for meeting the parents – but you can pretty much wear anything with these boots!
