A Few of My Favourite Things: 100 Things I love!

I was inspired by the lovely writer behind A Grace Full Life to write this post. As a planner, and hardcore lister, I love a good list – so let’s jump in, buckle up buttercup it’ll be a long one!

• The Fluffiness of Cats + their General Cuteness! Like, how can you not like cats?!
• Pop Funkos – gah. WAY too cute. There’s one for everything imaginable! The new pokemon!
• Unicorns – ’cause duh. Think Lisa Frank meets Rainbow Bright. SO perfectly magical.
• Deer – ohhh dear. One word. Bambi. Deer are just so sweetly gentle creatures. <3
• Networking + Connecting with people in ALL the ways! – I thrive on these moments.
• Anything + Everything Vintage – seriously. I don’t know what it is – but oh so divine.
• Audrey Hepburn – her elegance!! *swoon* She’s my all time favourite Old Hollywood actress!
• Music from the 50’s, 60’s and 80’s! Let’s have a themed party – eep! So much fun would be had!
• Social Media (mainly Instagram!) I just feel if you use it in the right way, you can do so much good.
• White/Tan Coffee – I like it sweet and milky. I don’t think I even like the actual taste of coffee.
• Anything Groovy and Retro – especially the colour mustard, and the typical typography.
• Old Hollywood Films – ahhh! I could list so many. I’ll save that for another blog post!
  

• Postcards – Postcrossing is the absolute best. Send and receive postcards from strangers?
• Doctor Who – can I say more?! Fave Doctor(s) Nine, Ten and Eleven. Fave companion: Rose!
• Fashion Illustration + honing my own skills. I’ve learnt so much over the years!
• The creativity that Interior Decorating offers – seriously. Decorating in general is the best!
• Cotton Candy Sunsets – PINK! Gah. I need more sunsets in my life. Yaasss please!
• Mountainscapes – my dream is to see one in real life. Till then, paintings and such will do!
• Cosy 8-bit games – StarDew Valley anyone? Let me know your favourites?
• Stickers, stickers, stickers! I put them anywhere and everywhere. They’re so much fun.
• Happy Planner and all the likes. Such an amazing brand. Stickers, planners, accessories, etc!

• Embroidery Hoop Art – I fill up my walls with this goodness. I’m a sucker for prettiness.
• Maximalism Decor – I go all out. My mentality is go big or go home, and I love it.
• Tote bags, Pouches + Purses = my weakness. Something about them I guess?
• Vinyl records + vintage players – I could say so much… Until then – Check this out!
• Filming and editing videos on my phone – you read that right, I’m weird. It’s just easier.
• Using Canva for anything and everything! And, yes – I do it on my phone. Duh.
• The freedom Faux Calligraphy offers – it’s so much fun. If you want to learn how click here.
• God + Jesus – without them I wouldn’t be here. My faith is very important to me.
• Traveling – although it’s so expensive nowadays… Hoping I can travel soon somehow!

• Plants. Duh. They’re oh so addicting, and pretty, and ahhhh. I want them ALL!
• Sweater Weather – I loathe summer clothing. It’s just so… not spring/fall clothing.
• Spring and Fall. ALWAYS. I mean, if we could have it year round I would be a happy camper!
• Food – I’m a foodie! Poutine, Pasta, Cheesecake, Tacos, Cheese, Sushi, etc!
• Neon Pink – if you haven’t already realized is my fave colour! It’s just so fun.
• Spring Colours (green, blue and pink!) Can you tell I like spring yet?
• Planning parties and events – they’re just so fun and satisfying at the end of the day!
• DIY Projects + Fun Art Ventures! I love a good DIY project + collabing with friends!
• Portraits of Myself – I might collect them. Okay, okay. I do! Here’s one below!

• Making Stickers – I made the Audrey Hepburn one below and hope to make more soon!
• Entrepreneurship – I’ve been one ever since I could talk! Haha. It’s just so fun.
• The Spice Girls – the ultimate girl band in my humble opinion. Spice up your life!
• Fake/Faux Plants – they don’t die. Enough said.
• Porcelain Cats – especially my favourite one who is lovingly named Carl.
• Old Houses – theres just such a quaint, romantic, loveliness about them.
• Pink Houses – again, oh so pretty, quaint and romantic. I want one in my life.
• Baked Goods Scents – Vanilla, Cinnamon Buns, Birthday Cake, Cupcakes, etc!
• A Freshly Made Bed – if you don’t make your bed in the morning, what are you doing?

• Hard Cover Books – SO expensive but oh so worth it. They’re just so pretty.
• Coffee Table Books – I always take the paper sleeve off them – they look more vintage without!
• New Hobbies – I love me a new hobby every so often. Aka a new obsession/addiction.
• Bunting – you know the handmade decoration you string across a table or the wall, etc.
• Tea Parties – especially the ones Janet and I host at my local library – so much fun!
• Black and White Films – there’s a certain type of magic about them… so classic!
• My Phone Case (a lovely shade of lavender – very, very soft touch!)
• My Pop Socket (a small field of soft silicone daisies!) So pretty.
• Writing Letters – especially letters for Letters Against Depression… Such a worthy cause!
• Internships – they’re absolutely one of my favourite things… for many reasons.

• Polka Dots – They’re so fun and remind me of Kate Spade. Such a classic designer.
• Journaling – oh so healthy to partake in. Definitely a habit I’m working on implementing.
• Reading – a habit I’m trying and failing to work at. Any tips or tricks when you’re in a funk?
• Creating – anything and everything! I adore making a vision come to life.
• Collages – I’ve recently become obsessed with collaging. It’s quite fun and therapeutic.
• Quotes – I especially love positive and motivational ones – but try me!
• Positivity and having a growth mindset – SO important. Check out my last post!
• Fellow Artists and collabing with them. I just love supporting, following and getting to know them!
• Making Someone’s Day – oh so worth it… you never know where someone is mentally.
• Compliments – one of the tactics I use to brighten someone’s day! Who will be my next victim?
• Wall Hangings – tassels, yarn, bunting, banners, oh my! I love them all.
• Kate Spade – such an amazing designer who died too soon. I’ve always loved her work and brand.

• Craft Stores – this is a recurring theme on my list… oops. I admit, I have a bit of an addiction.
• Online Shopping – especially on AliExpress and the Shop app! My weaknesses right there!
• Brown Paper Packages – tied up in string, on my front porch just a waiting for me!
• Frida Kahlo (and mugs!) – I recently did a presentation about her for Internation Womens Day!
• ABBA – such a great band… guess what my fave song is? What? Super Trooper?! Wow, you’re good.
• Organizational things. I love a good organized space, whether its organized chaos or not!
• Making Friends – seriously, so much fun. Especially if you’re constantly saying “me too!”
• Black Ink – I will only ever use this colour of ink… blue makes my handwriting look awful. Ew.
• Washi Tape – what can I say? There’s oh so many cute patterns. Why not?!
• Stationery + Paper Goods – another recurring theme on this list. At least I know what I like.
• Helping Others is one of my all time favourite things to do. It’s just so satisfying.

• Movie nights at my Grandmas with my Dad. SO much fun, I’ll cherish these memories forever.
• People. I LOVE people to a fault – seriously, its a problem I’m working through.
• Relaxing in bed after a short/long day – this is one of my specialties.
• Staying up late into the wee hours of the morning being productive and such.
• The warmth of a cat snuggling on your back or nestled in between your legs at night!
• Cold pizza and ranch for breakfast, lunch and dinner – YUM.
• Christmas time and the lights on the Christmas Tree! So peaceful and bright!
• Bursts of laughter with friends – best medicine in the whole wide world.

• Eating at a pizza place in PEI that served pizza with pear slices on it. SO good.
• Travelling to Nova Scotia with my close friends in 2019 – such a great trip!
• Travelling to NYC to meet Jennifer Lilya and attend some fun events.
• Sunshine and how it plays such a huge factor in my mood. Eep!
• Hobby Lobby, Joann’s, and Thrift Stores – oh my!! I’m a kid in a candy store!
• Mail in the mailbox or a package on the front porch. Oh so fun.
• People who kiss you on the cheek when they hug you (my grandma!!)
• My mom’s tuna salad, and pretzel salad as well – two totally different salads!
• Blogging, YouTubing, and Instagraming! I’m a self proclaimed social media queen!
• My glasses and being able to see clearly now, the blur is gone!
• My bubblegum pink HydraPeak water bottle – I love water sooo much!
