Get to Know Her | Fun Things!

I thought I’d share some of my hobbies and passions with you. If you know me well, you may already know these things, but for those that don’t – here’s a post to get to know me better! What do I do for fun?

Pictured below are some of the things I love… writing letters, cutting things out of magazines to make collages, painting, collaging, taking photos, going for walks at the riverfront, making friends with stray cats, and working on my blog.

Why do I love these things?
Well, it’s sort of simple. I’m able to express myself in most of them. For writing letters I can encourage and connect with others by being my authentic self. By finding things in magazines to make collages out of I’m able to be artistic and create something new. Painting – I’m able to create art that I love. Dabbling in photography is also one of the things I love – I’m able to see the beauty in something others may not. Walking by the riverfront is so peaceful to me – there’s something about the waves. And, well – do I have to explain why I love stray cats? This one especially was very sweet and loving, I wanted to take her home. Lastly, I love blogging because it allows me to share my overall life in an online journal format. Plus, I love connecting with y-o-u!

Some other things are:
Collecting cat figurines, shopping, thrifting, decorating, organizing, moving, writing, fashion illustration, travelling, drawing, listening to music, reading, meeting new people, networking, playing with stickers, planning, crafting, taking care of my plants, talking on the phone, helping people, being technology savvy, learning, interning, and much more!
