Cats Vs. Dogs! My Sorta Bias Opinion.
Dogs or cats?
Cats!!! Obviously. They’re the much better choice. At least for me! But, I may be bias – since I’ve always had a cat since I was born… beginning with Pookey, then Zoey, Marley Poppins and lastly Lola! She was my baby and still is! (I had to sadly surrender her to the Humane Society recently.) That was one of the hardest decisions of my life…
My reasons are: cats can take care of themselves, don’t smell, are sweet and loving to their owners. Their affection seems to be more genuine whereas dogs seem to like/love anyone who moves. Both tend to love anyone who gives them attention which is understandable.
Dogs are high maintenance… you have to do a lot for them: take them for walks, let them in and out, give them baths, and you can’t leave them alone overnight, much less a weekend!
Oh, and cats usually live longer…
In saying all this, some cats can be jerks – but also some dogs can be too! I like some breeds of dogs (especially Cocker Spaniels since I look like one! Haha – you know how animals sometimes look like their owners?)
Although it really doesn’t matter… both are amazing pets and it’s entirely possible to love both dogs and cats! I, however – will always love cats better. Crazy cat lady here!

Best road trip was. actually on the transcontinental train in 1969. Love Scrabble. Found a Quebecois teen. She spoke English weil enough but could not write it. For our Scrabble game, she used French and I English. How Canadian is that????

LOVE! This is one of my favorite questions. I have a rule to never trust anyone who doesn’t like cats. Also, you can tell a lot about a person if they’re a cat lover! Independent, confident, requires little outside attention because they’re totally content with themselves, easily entertained, focused, balanced with love, play, and work life. Go girl!
