Dea Rosa | Natalie Brooke’s F/W 2011 Picks

Andria Mitsakos the fabulous founder and creative director behind Dea Rosa recently contacted me about their amazing brand and I just had to post about it.  I’ll be sharing my four favourite handbags from their Fall/Winter 2011 Collection but feel free to browse the collection on your own. Their handbags are to die for!! Below are the ones I’m just dying to get my hands on, but I’ll have to wait as their prices are a bit high for me. Aren’t they absolutely beautiful though?  I’m in love.

//About the Collection
The Collection is inspired by the color palette of a fabled land. Dea Rosa Founder and Creative Director Andria Mitsakos was influenced by a recent trip to Cambodia, and used the mossy greens and deep jungle browns of Angkor Wat as a base for the collection. The tangerine of a monk’s robe plays with lucky jade. Sumptuous cashmere luxuriates with color blocking in rust, red and bright blue. Texture and color are drawn together in spiritual harmony. Revolutionary techniques create rich, new finishes. Ancient Eastern influences meet the skilled artisan of today, reflecting a contemporary mix of shapes, design and sensibility. //My Picks

Here’s one that’s just perfect for the many holiday parties coming up – it’s exactly the amount of bold and bright that you need!  It’s called Angkor Tangerine and retails for a hefty $1350 – but it’s so pretty!

A beautiful little ostrich handbag named Naga Sardinia. Isn’t this one sweet? It retails in for $750 and would be a lovely Christmas present for your wife or girlfriend. Trust me, she’ll adore it – if not send it my way! 😉

You may be noticing the amazing textures and materials they use – aren’t they just divine? The fabrics they use are as follows: double-faced cashmere, wool python, lizard and ostrich.  Some close-ups are above.

Here is Sirena – one of their more simple designs, a classic envelope clutch! Above it is shown in Chocolate Python. It retails in for $1200. Isn’t it beautiful? Pair this with a lovely frock and you’re all set for that holiday party!

Here is the lovely Angkor Sardinia Cashmere, a beautiful design created with charcoal cashmere and Sardinia ostrich.  It also retails in at $1200. I just adore the colours! So pretty!
