DIY | Penpal Address Book!

Attention all those crafty penpals out there! How do you keep track of all your snail-mail friends? I just recently got back into penpaling, and the requests have been piling up! (I post photos of the mail I send/receive on instagram) So I decided to give my old unused journal life, ta-da! … and this beauty was born! I hope you enjoy it,  be sure to send me a photo if you try out this DIY! 🙂

//Steps:

Go through your magazines and cut out photos for your cover – I choose one of my favourite illustrations from Paper Fashion. Grab some scrapbook paper, cut it in stripes (or however you want) and arrange it with your magazine clipping(s) on the cover.  Paint a light coat of modge podge on the back of them. Then cut out some scrapbook paper to cover up the inside of the book (unless you like the paper already there!) and voila! You’re done.  Add a small pocket on the back inside cover for small goodies & business cards.

Supplies Used:

• Modge Podge (or glue + water)
• Notebook of your choice!
• Scrapbook paper in pattern of your choice
• Magazine clips or illustration prints
• Paintbrush
