DIY: Retro Jewelry Box

Well, I’ve gotten my creativity back! Sometimes you just need to dive into a project when you’re having an artists block, and that’s just what I did.  Here’s my latest project – a wooden jewelry box from Michaels decoupaged with photos of lovely icons like Audrey Hepburn, Bette Davis, and random fashion models from my magazines (and the computer – gotta love google!)  Tell me what you think? I still have a lot to do – have to find more photos, glue ’em, paint the edges blue, buy velvet material and line the insides, etc.  I can’t wait till it’s done!

Have a lovely creative weekend everyone!

  1. It looks really nice. I’m working on a jewelry box made out of Popsicle sticks. Not sure how it’s going to turn out but I really like yours.
