Lovin’ Miss Hepburn

I was looking around online for some beautiful illustrations of the timeless Audrey Hepburn, and I couldn’t find ANY  anywhere  – who would have thunk?  In my new Vintage Fashion Illustration book, I found a gorgeous illustration of her, but it just doesn’t seem to exist on the internet – boo hoo – I’ll have to keep searching.  Jennifer ended up asking me for some ideas for an illustration, and of course I said AUDREY! (as she’s a fellow fan) and she whipped out this amazing likeness below.  Miss Hepburn would have been proud!  It looks exactly like her!

I swooned and actually gasped when I saw it.  I hope you do the same – I’m always amazed by Jennifer’s work!  I sent her this reference photo below, and I think she captured it to a T!  The dress was designed by the lovely Edith Head, and was worn by Audrey in her film Funny Face.  Still need to rent that one day – I feel an Audrey marathon coming on!! (:
