  1. Such adorable ornaments! Although I already have one that I LOVE, I decided I too needed to enter this contest! haha!!! Well, my favourite Christmas tradition would be baking cookies, and Christmas shopping. It’s great to spend some extra special time with family and friends, and it allows for everyone to become a little closer and to put on an extra bright smile =)

Let’s see my favorite Christmas tradition has to be watching It’s a Wonderful Life with my dad and little sister. We do it every year. And we’re the only 3 in our family who will watch it! Even though it’s a sad film, it’s also happy too at the end, and I just love it!

Oh and I followed your blog on BlogLovin for a while now!

    1. Hey Gabrielle!! 🙂 Thanks for entering! What a sweet tradition, my dad and I watch The Grinch every year – definitely not as sad as It’s a Wonderful Life. (I love that movie!!)

Thanks for following! I really appreciate it!

  3. Hi there! first visit to your blog!! and you made me discover bloglovin!!!! I think it’s awesome!
one of my fave traditions is the lunch on the 25th as all the family (from my mom’s side) get together at my grandma’s and we make a large meal with bbq and lots of season treats! all the cousins play, take photos, give presents to the little ones… the best day of the year 🙂

  4. O.K. you made me do IT ! I was so trying to beeeeeehave all mornin’ here in the office and then this…..couldn’t resist. Tried for a while but no , so not working. We have so many Christmas traditions, where shall I begin. It’s a whole Christmas week of celebrating, starting with Bean’s BD, then Jesus’ BD, followed by Jay’s BD. The cabin has to be decorated by Nov. 15 th.Putting out the first ever Christmas decoration I ever bought…..a candle snowman…..he’s 35.Yvonne little white ceramic angel has to go on the front of the tree and the ” FAMOUS PICKLE” has to be hidden somewhere in the tree. Wrapping presents until very late Christmas Eve ( this one is one I could live without!).Open stocking stuffers Christmas Eve, always!. Tasting menu for Christmas Eve dinner…..a little taste of everything Christmassy. Chritsmas Carols to follow around the piano. Christmas morning brunch, followed by opening presents…that order was always reversed until the kids finally grew up ( just happened lately BTW). Turkey dinner with all the trimmings.Turkey pot pie on Boxing day ….always!. Raspberry Trifle for desert! Buying my fav niecie a new pair of adorable PJ”s for Christmas every year for the last 20 years……ooops gave that one away. Making red jello and green jello for Christmas dinner even though no one eats it any more ( a throwover from when the kids were little). Making homemade apple sauce.Lots and lots of baking. Cookies and a glass of whatever it is Santa’s fav drink is this year. Sitting around the table after Christmas dinner talking and laughing and listening to all the crazy stories my kids have to tell and wondering where was I when all this was happening ? Going for long walks in the Provincial Park and the fabulous Beach where we live before Christmas Eve dinner ( yes it’s very pretty in the winter too!) with all my family & puppy. But the best tradition of all is reading the story in the Bible every Christmas morning (before any of the presents are opened) about the birth of Jesus. “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord” Luke 2:11 . Without his birth there would be no Christmas.

There’s a ton more however I have to get back to work…..I’m still on the clock. See what you made me do ???????? I’m trying to beeeeeeeeeehave but you’re not making it easy girlie.

Oh by the way I looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove the blue one!
