Whimsy Brooke – My Newest Business Venture!
I’ve always been an entrepreneur – ever since I was a kid. Kool Aid stands, Baby Sitters Club, etc! Eventually, I started my first craft business, which opened up the wonderful world of craft shows and pop up shops! I thrive on meeting new people and networking, so these were amazing experiences for me! However, due to my move last year – I had to shut down my website as it was getting to be too expensive, and I needed the money elsewhere. After getting settled in my new place, and joining the planner community – I wanted to start selling my own stickers. And, Whimsy Brooke was created.
It’ll eventually be a stationery and paper goods shop as well, but I need to figure some things out first. Right now, it’s just a word of mouth and instagram shop – but, I have high hopes of launching it soon. Probably towards the end of this year, or Spring 2025. So, stay tuned! In the meantime, I wanted to share with you my sticker designs. I hope you’ll enjoy them. And, don’t forget to comment below with your “dream sticker” – I may actually make it one day!!
I decided to create a mood board which is shown below. It showcases some sneak peeks of the stationery I’ll be selling and some sticker designs. I’m a huge Audrey Hepburn lover so I thought I should make a sticker in tribute of her. The one below, was then born. It was a quick doodle I did back in the day, and I love how it turned out. What do you think? The other one (a purple geode with flowers!) was inspired by my love for nature – I’m happy with how it turned out. They’re both available for $4.00 CAD each if you’re interested. And, I recently ordered a ton – so comment below if you’d like one! (or two or three!)
I’ve loved stickers since I was a little girl, so now that I’m making them, I feel like I’m living a childhood dream! Eventually I’ll make planner stickers too. As much as I’m excited for this new business venture I’m also scared. I’ll be going out of my comfort zone, and the fear of failure is real. However, FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real! I just have to put in some hard work and dedication, and it’ll be worth it.
