Road Trip Adventures: P.E.I. and Nova Scotia Travel Memories!

Describe your most memorable vacation.

I couldn’t decide on one, so I chose two!! And, here they are: Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island! I went to P.E.I in 2010, and Nova Scotia in 2019. Both trips were ah-mazing!! So many fun and unforgettable memories were made! And, hello! Anne of Green Gables?!

I travelled with my Dad and my “twin” Lindsey to P.E.I and it was the longest road trip of my life. I think about 23 hours or so! It was awesome!! I love me a good, lonnnggg road trip! Some sights we saw there were: the Prince Edward Island National Park, the Green Gables Heritage Place, the Confederation Bridge, Charlotte Town, the Cavendish Cliffs, COWS creamery, the Lucy Maud Montgomery Birthplace, and we even got to see an Anne of Green Gables play!! Here are some photos below: (I don’t have many photos because I wasn’t much of a photographer back then! Boo.) But, I’m sure these will do – they better! Haha.

As far as Nova Scotia goes – Oh my goodness. Such a great trip! I have more photos because by this time I was a pro photographer! Haha. We had an amazing itinerary thanks to Dorothy! We also drove – such a wonderful road trip! Many great memories were made on this one!

Here are the sights we saw according to my memory (which isn’t the greatest!) St. Lawrence River, Lunenburg, the Giant Fiddle in Sydney, a local art show in Port Medway, Liverpool, Fort Point Lighthouse, Western Head Lighthouse, Peggy’s Cove, and Hopewell Cape along the Bay of Fundy, and probably some more that I can’t think of! My favourite spot was Lunenburg. The bright coloured houses and buildings – ahh my heart! The shops were fun too, and the food was divine! I miss this place, oh so much. I hope to one day return!

Where have you travelled to? And where was your most memorable trip? I’d love to know!! Please share. Oh, and if you ever get the chance to travel to Canada – please do! It’s absolutely beautiful here.
