First post as a twenty year old,

My twentieth birthday has come and went, and here I am wondering where my teenage years have gone… As a child, I used to play with my barbies and imagine myself as a teenager, all grown up with nice long hair, a perfect car, boyfriend, and job. I read Archie Comics and wanted to be just like Betty Cooper. I couldn’t wait to be “sixteen going on seventeen” after watching the Sound of Music. (the musical scene in the rain with Liesl and Rolfe was my favourite part of the movie!) The other day a little girl in my neighbourhood told me that she just couldn’t wait to be a teenager. Personally, I just find that once you reach your teens, after each birthday you get less excited about being a teenager and wonder why you were so excited in the first place. Anyone with me on that? I don’t mind getting older, but it seems each year is going by faster and faster. So, I guess to document my years (and just for fun) I created this lovely blog, where I can type my days, memories, worries, triumphs and much more. And maybe, just maybe I might just inspire myself to get back into journaling again. (while I’m “journaling/blogging” online)

Thanks for reading!

    1. So true! I would never want to lose all the memories, even if there might be some bad ones. Thanks, I hope you had a great birthday too! 25, you’re still young!! Age is just a number, you’re what you feel! <3
