Hi loves! Here is my second edition of my Internship Diary! As you may know, the posts or my “diary” will include; FAQ’s, tidbits of my job, sneak peeks to some JL projects, my growing portfolio of the work I do for her (graphic design), and other lovely goodies! I hope you guys will enjoy it!

The Goods: (my Portfolio)
The Tidbits; (Photos above explained)
Firstly, I don’t want to get too mushy here – but I’m so happy to be interning for Jennifer. It still feels like a dream, and it’s turned my life around. (cheesy I know!) I’ve learned so much already and we haven’t even started painting lessons yet. I’ve learned a lot about my self and my work ethics and because of that, and her, I’ve started another blog for my part-time business. Natalie Brooke Designs. There I will share all my art ventures – including: My fashion illustrations, my greeting cards, quote signs, DIY’s, etc! I’d really appreciate it if you could check it out. Thanks a bunch!
JL Graphic news;
I’ve made a few ads for her, two for O-My-Heart (one normal, and one Christmas) one for Galadarling, a couple wallpapers, and a Zazzle Banner for her upcoming shop! Hope you enjoy them. 🙂
The Scoop/FAQ‘s;
Q: When did you start interning for her?
A: September 2011 – coincidentally my birthday month! Happy Birthday!
Q: How do you know if she’s a real person or not? (Oy – sorry Jenn!)
A: I’ve talked with her enough, she’s given me more than enough info, she has 10,000+ fans, she has proof of porfolios, resumes, etc, and I’ve had much more experience with people over the internet then I could ever want – I’m definitely not stupid. Thanks for being concerned though!
Q: How do you intern for her if you’re not living in the same city?
A: I do things over the internet for her, such as; contacting advertising outlets & other bloggers/sites looking for collaborations or interviews, researching, organizing, coming up with ideas, some graphic design, etc. & lovin’ it! The internet is great, isn’t it? I’m planning to meet her in NYC like I said, and who knows? Maybe I’ll do a little bit of “interning” while I’m there. I’m addicted to it.

What I’ve learned this month;
- Always go for it, even if you don’t think you can do it/or don’t think you’re qualified enough. (!!)
- How thankful I am for Neopets – it got me into graphic work and HTML.
- Not to be shy in sharing your ideas/opinion
- Find something you love and make it a career – Go for it!!
- Never, ever give up on your dreams! (never!!)
- How much fun interning & blogging is – I’m addicted!
- Once you get into a steady routine of posts you’re addicted.
- What working with a PR company is like. (so fun!!)
- You don’t need to go to school to be successful (but I’m still going!)
