Springy Summer Decor
Hey all! How’s everyone doing? I love how each season allows you to re-decorate your room/apartment/house to fit the colours and feel. At the beginning of Spring I re-decorated by doing a mini project – collecting frames to add to my frame wall and around the room. I found an old burgundy frame that had a gold rim on it – not so much what I was going for, so I picked out my current fave acrylic paint (avocado green!) and put a couple of coats on it, printed out the gorgeous painting below (with permission of course!) – and voila!! ROOM TRANSFORMATION! Look below for some photos I took during this Spring and Summer. (: The ironic thing is my room has the colours I want for my future wedding (which is not too near, haha) – 3 colours! can ya guess them? Yes, I’m an extreme girly girl – and proud of it! Enjoy! I wish I could decorate my room. It needs to be changed around. Its too small, but not as small as my sister’s room. Anyways, I just need something to spice up my room. The last time I went to Walmart. I found a big, dark purple blanket. Then later on that day I found a big Transformers pillow. I was really tempted to buy both but didn’t. 🙂
Girl, my room is crazy small too! But you can so decorate it!! Sketch out a layout and go from there, that’s what I did. (: The purple blanket sounds gorgeous!! I love my green fluffy damask one. Shopping is so tempting!
You are so organize girly. I lack that skill. Sadly I share my room with my sister (she kind of invaded it she has one herself which is use like a storage room now *eye roll*) However I do have those stickers you can put on walls that I bought at a dollar-store like 6 years ago. They are a bunch of cute butterflies and my ceiling is full of glow stars. (I’m so childish but i love them) Other than that my room is a total disaster. Your bed-set is so cute.
I assume the wedding colors are white, black and tints of olive?
Awwe, thanks – I try to be, but I admit sometimes my room is a mess. (usually in an art-block or a “down” mood) Tell your sister to clean up her storage room and move back in! haha. (what kind of storage space does a little sister need?) Oh those stickers are so neat, I’ve been meaning to get some quote ones. Glow stars are so cool, haha! Glad you like it! Thanks girl!
You’re close! My colours are going to be a light olive, light coral pink, and a light tiffany blue that would match. I was inspired from the ballet scene in Phantom of the Opera. (if you’ve seen it?) It sounds like a lot, but in my mind it’s gorgeous and perfect for spring!

I cn’t share any pictures because my room/house is extremely ugly right now. We live on a rented apartment and the courtains are awfull, and the walls are pretty dirty right now.
I want to re-decorate!
I also (I think I already mentioned…) have 6 cats, 3 dogs and a 2 year old son… I can’t have pretty stuff around because they will scratch it, bite it or play with it… *sighs*
I really miss having a space of my own *melancoholic*
