The girl who could,

Everyone has dreams, even if they are bigger than others – they’re still possible! What are your dreams?  I would love to go to Spain, and run my own boutique.  (I’d be happy to own a boutique just about anywhere, but it would be pretty cool to have one in Spain!)  However, before this happens, I need to re-learn spanish, (I’m half-spanish and I’ve forgotten the little I knew when I was younger, sad!) save up some moolah, find the perfect building for my boutique, and get my crafty DIY-ness on and re-decorate said building like Elsie did with Red Velvet.  Then I’d have to make a whole bunch of cards, cute handmade decor, paper goods, etc for the inventory – but that’s the easy part! 😉

  1. Oh my dreams! I wish I could find a nice job as a Spanish teacher in Japan. It’s sort of weird but it’s been inmy mind for a LONG time, and now I’m starting to make it true, the first step is the Master’s and I’m doing it at the moment!
BTW I’m Spanish and I live in Spain, fate? you should totally come and try to have your shop here! 🙂

  3. we kind of share the same dream : )

i really want to have a store with a studio space filled with arts and crafts supplies. i want it to be a space where people who don’t have access to the things they need (sewing machines, printmaking supplies, material, xerox machine, etc etc) can come and create the amazing they’ve always wanted to. it can be a space to host classes and cute parties as well as being a gallery space to display/sell art and crafts. i’d love to have a big window to dress up with the different seasons/holidays too!

    1. woo! we’re cousins though, so I guess it’s understandable! 🙂

That is such a great idea! I can so see you making this come alive! it’s possible!! And I promise I’ll be there every step of the way!! Ps: who knows? maybe we’ll end up owning a boutique/store together? haha.
